Are they going to add reflectors to the repaved section of North College Road?

Q. They paved North College Road between Laney High School and Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway earlier this year, and along much of the pavement they have not yet installed the reflectors that help tremendously when it is dark and rainy outside. The lines are pretty light also. Just wondering if they are planning to do that anytime soon?

A. The section of U.S. 117/N.C. 132 from the MLK intersection to I-40 near Laney High School is scheduled to be resurfaced in 2015 and will have new markings and markers installed as part of that project, said Al Edgerton Jr.. Division 3 project manager with the N.C. Department of Transportation.

In the meantime, Edgerton said he’ll check to see if he can paint this section of North College Road prior to the resurfacing.
