The city values its employees tremendously, said Dylan Lee of the city’s Communications Office.
“They work hard day in and day out to provide public services to this community,” he said. “However, due to budget cuts associated with the economic downturn, there hasn’t been an employee appreciation day in a few years. The city’s primary objective remains the provision of essential services to its residents. The city hopes to re-introduce employee appreciation day in the coming years.
