UPDATE: Time Warner Cable began carrying the SEC Network on Aug. 14, 2014.
“We carry SEC Network and it is found on Channel 384 and 385. Channel 384 being the ‘main’ SEC Network channel, said Scott Pryzwansky, director of public relations for Time Warner Cable in Greensboro. “Channel 385 will carry alternative SEC programming or overflow programming such as additional games, SEC programming shows (etc.).
“Both channels are available for Standard TV and Preferred TV subscribers,” he said. “The Sports Pass tier is not required.”
When Alex Riley first answered this question in April 2014, the cable company and the sports network had not reached an agreement. At that time, the SEC Network was encouraging fans to visit www.GetSECNetwork.com. The website lets people know which cable providers are carrying the channel and how to contact their provider to encourage them to reach a deal.
