Q. How many people are licensed to provide horse and carriage services for weddings, etc., in the city? I was told there’s only only one. That does not seem right or fair!

A. There is only one provider of carriage rides in the city, according to Dylan Lee, a Wilmington spokesman.

There is no conspiracy theory behind the one-vendor attraction though.

Lee said the vendor, Spring Brook Farms, is the sole provider of the rides because they are the only business to apply for licensing to operate the rides downtown.
