Q. Who’s responsible for cleaning up the litter along Carolina Beach Road from Monkey Junction to Snows Cut Bridge. The center island and both sides of the road have an incredible amount of litter!
A. That section of the roadway is maintained by the N.C. Department of Transportation Adopt-A-Highway Program. This means that an organization has committed to cleaning it for four years.
To report the litter you can call the New Hanover County Adopt-A-Highway Coordinator Chris Law at 910-341-0500.
