Contractors for the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority will be working on the sewer system in that area starting Tuesday.
CFPUA will be conducting significant sewer system repair work on Waltmoor Road from St. Francis Drive to Wickford Road. The project is expected to take about two weeks, according to a CFPUA news release.
Waltmoor Road will be closed to thru traffic from St. Francis Drive to Wickard Road for the entirety of the project. Electronic signs warning of the closure have already been put in place in the neighborhood and detours will be established when the work begins.
Here is the full map showing the closed section of Waltmoor and the detours.
