Outside of churches, Wilmington has several wedding venues to offer. Local wedding planners have mentioned Arlie Gardens and historical buildings downtown like 128 south.
Tonya Boulware from A Carolina Wedding, a bridal store, said Arlie Gardens is the most popular venue, with beaches and historical buildings downtown following .
Jude Bradley from Eventz & Co. wedding planning, did not agree that Arlie Gardens is No. 1, but agreed that the historical locations downtown are popular. Some of the places downtown Wilmington like The Balcony, and the River Room can host wedding ceremonies and receptions. Other places mentioned were The Atrium, and St. Thomas Preservation Hall.

The city-owned Community Building in Southport is extremely popular. It has a beautiful view of the Cape Fear River, Bald Head, Oak Island, etc.
Went to a beautiful wedding the park by oleander
