New Hanover County Schools can’t make any changes to the North College Road traffic patterns, where Laney High school sits, said Ken Nance, director of transportation for the district.

The district has contacted the N.C. Department of Transportation with traffic concerns but hasn’t heard back with any current plans to improve traffic there, Nance said.
