The new Starbucks on the corner of Oleander Drive and Independence Boulevard should open in mid-May. Meagan, a Starbucks representative could not give a definitive date.
She did note that there are five other locations to serve us until the new store opens. One, in fact is inside the Independence Mall. There are no plans to close that store and will continue to serve patrons even when the sixth store nearby opens its doors.
Other locations in Wilmington include: 317 S. College Rd., 1705 Eastwood Rd., 2800 S. College Rd., 1005 International Dr.
