Q. Why did the Fishy Seafood Restaurant on Village Road in Leland close? A good seafood restaurant in Leland is needed.
A. Amona Hobbs, mother of Something Fishy owner Ricky Hobbs, said Tuesday that their Leland eatery, Fishy Seafood Restaurant, closed in the winter of 2012 because there wasn’t enough patronage to support the operation. Their Wilmington restaurant at 3436 S. College remains open.
