“The last that I heard about Les Patternotte was that he was living in Frederick, Md., where he was doing some writing,” Bob Townsend, longtime anchor of “Carolina in the Morning” on WECT-TV, said in an email.
Patternotte was the 11 p.m. news anchor on WECT in the mid-1970s for about two years, Townsend said.

Here’s Les (lower right in the photo) in a theater production at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD in 2010. I worked with him for several years at WECT in the late 70s/early 80s – he did other things besides anchor the news.

Don’t know anything else – personally or on Google!
I also meant to point out that you’ve all spelled his name wrong. There’s only one double T: Paternotte.
Re: Les,, I play Bridge with that fine person about twice a week….Great Bridge Player….When we were introduced about 3 years ago my reaction was WOW!!! Weren’t you on TV years ago? I surely remember your name.
