“The camera views are a good tool for gauging traffic congestion on our major roads,” city spokeswoman Malissa Talbert said.
Talbert said the views are currently unavailable because the N.C. Department of Transportation “is working to resolve some technical issues with the system.”
When they are restored, Talbert said access to all local traffic cameras will be available at www.wilmingtonnc.gov/quick_links/residents/traffic_cameras.
“This links to the DOT cameras,” she said.
A second service that used to be available will not be restored because the provider, trafficland.com, no longer serves the Wilmington area, Talbert said.
