Q: Who is Bill Clay? I hear he has worked for Cape Fear Country Club for generations.
You are correct. Bill Clay was a fixture, working for decades for the Cape Fear Country Club.
According to CFCC records, Clay began employment at the club in 1966. After 35 years on the job, he formally retired June 7, 1999, but came back to work special events over the years.
