Didn’t Hardee’s restaurants used to have rides for kids?

John Peaspanen

Q: Does anyone remember when Hardee’s restaurant had kiddie rides? And if so, what ever happened to them?

You are correct. Hardee’s restaurants used to have features geared toward children, but those were phased out as the company’s customer base shifted.

Daniel E. Hogan, vice president, construction and facilities for Hardee’s, said, “In the past certain Hardee’s locations have had rides or other attractions for children. I believe these attractions have been removed, in most cases, due to changes in the demographic profile of the typical Hardee’s customer.”

In other words, as the people who have been buying hamburgers got older, kiddie rides became unnecessary.
