Did Asha Dave leave WWAY? And why?

Cassie Foss

Asha Davé’s last day at WWAY NewsChannel 3 was Aug. 31. It ended her two-year run as a reporter and the station’s weekend meteorologist, according to a WWAY News Content Manager.

For a time, she also produced a regular feature franchise called “Just Add Hope,” which focused on news stories about people doing positive things in the community.

Although it was difficult to replace Dave, the manager said, WWAY recently hired Christina Anthony, who began working at the station last week. Anthony is a recent graduate of Penn State with a degree in meteorology, the manager said.
