Q. Are they going to replace traffic signs on Military Cutoff between Mayfaire and Market Street—signs that have knocked down from automobile accidents?
A. The N.C. Department of Transportation has replaced knocked-down replaced signs in the past at the intersection. Division 3 Traffic Engineer Katie Hite said staff will look into the current situation there.
“I will have someone investigate the signs that are damaged or missing on Military Cutoff and have the repairs scheduled as soon as possible,” Hite said.
Damaged signs can be reported to the N.C. DOT Division 3 Traffic Engineers Office, 341-2000.
