Are there any U-pick apple orchards in the Wilmington area?

The short answer is no.

Local grocery store Carolina Farmin’ gets its apples from the Hendersonville area, and we couldn’t find any orchards in Brunswick, Pender or New Hanover counties.

In fact, according to OrangePippin.com, the apple orchards nearest Wilmington are in the Durham area.
