What will be moving into the old O’Charley’s location in front of Wal-Mart on Market Street?

A Kirkland’s home decor store will occupy the former O’Charley’s at 6 Van Campen Blvd., off Market Street.

“We just started construction,” Kirkland’s spokeswoman Megan Casey said. Casey would not give a specific date for the store to open, but said it won’t be before November.

Kirkland’s, which started in Jackson, Tenn., has 292 stores in 30 states, including 15 in North Carolina.
