The city of Wilmington does not have any adult flag football leagues. But Wrightsville Beach does. It runs each year in the spring, with registration in January and play starting in February. According to the town website, information will be up on in December for the Spring 2013 season. There is no mention of any specific age requirements, but participants do have to pay a team registration fee and sign a waiver in case of injury.
We also typically publish the registration information in December when Wrightsville Beach releases it. Look for it at the Youth Recreation blog at StarNewsOnline.com.
