State Sen. Thom Goolsby, R-New Hanover, said he is not renting out his home in downtown Wilmington. While the house on South Fifth Avenue is on the market, Goolsby said he and his family are living there and not renting it out.
“My house is for sale because I would like to have a bigger yard for my girls,” he said. He has two young daughters, Lily and Alabama.
He said he would like to find a place with a larger yard, whether it be in downtown Wilmington or somewhere else in New Hanover County. Goolsby represents New Hanover in the 50-member state Senate.
