Where was the old Leland High School, and when did it close?

The old Leland High School stood where Brunswick County’s Leland Park now is.

The school closed in the early 70s, according to officials.

Leland Town Manager David Hollis said he believes the last year the school operated was in 1972. The school was replaced by North Brunswick High School, which opened in 1973.
