Are there any churches open every day and night?

D.C. Lewis

Q. Are there any churches whose sanctuaries/alters are open every day/night for prayer/meditation?

A. After contacting numerous churches in the area and the Wilmington Baptist Association, the consensus is that currently there are no churches that meet this criteria.

If there are any churches open round the clock, please let us know in the Comments below.

When our kids were little, we frequently stopped by the Chapel at St. Pauls Episcopal, 16th and Market. It was so nice having this place of solitude throughout the week. I understand vandalism forced the church to discontinue it’s availability. There have been numerous reports of theft and vandalism in the local church community. I’m sure leaving it open would only promote this. Sad…really.
