What happened to the two teens charged with attempted kidnapping of a young boy? I think he was walking from Pine Valley School.
Mark Sewell, 18, and Jaquelyn Martin, 16, have pending charges for attempted felonious restraint and misdemeanor stalking, according to the New Hanover County District Attorney’s Office.
The two were riding in a car on April 17 when they allegedly pestered a 10-year-old boy walking home from the playground at Pine Valley Elementary School.
Sewell and Martin reportedly asked the child, “What’s your name?,” “What’s your address?” and said, “Hey kid, you want some candy?” according to the police.
The child hid in the woods and then ran home and told his parents.
Their next court date is in felony district court June 14, 2012.
