We can’t say with absolute certainty, but most likely the clown in the pickup is Jack the Clown, also known as Steve Williams.

Steve, a certified clown, is also a high-voltage lineman at Camp Lejeune.

Jack regularly works birthday parties, festivals and other events where kids are bound to show up. Each Tuesday, Jack entertains the kids at the Chick-fil-A in Mayfaire from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. On Wednesdays, Jack works at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Monkey Junction from 6 to 8 p.m. We’re guessing that’s where he’s headed when you pass him.

Anybody who wants to hire Jack the Clown can call (910) 686-1291.
