Wilmington regulates construction noise levels by decibel and time of day.

In residential areas, noise cannot exceed 65 decibels – dB(A) – from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. or 55 dB(A) between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The daytime level remains in effect until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
