The signs for Cape Fear Community College’s North Campus have not been requested, said Joseph Chance, N.C. Department of Transportation division engineer.
“If the college would like signs placed, they will need to contact our office and make arrangements to have them placed in the appropriate locations,” Chance said.
CFCC must pay for the signs “and meet certain criteria for the signs to be warranted and installed,” he said.
If the college would like to make such a request, Chance suggested officials contact Katie Hite, division traffic engineer, at (910) 341-2000.
CFCC’s North Campus is at Sidbury and Blue Clay roads in New Hanover County.
