There are plans, but no money, to connect the roads.

There are plans in the works, but no money available at present, said Mike Kozlosky, executive director of the Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization.

Kozlosky said the Wilmington MPO is developing a collector street plan for the city of Wilmington.

“The Wilmington MPO anticipates a collector street that would connect Peel Street with Hollingsworth Drive, however there is currently no funding identified for the construction of this facility,” he said.
