Yes. A total of 28, including 16 off the inaugural team in 1995. Derek Lowe (Atlanta Braves pitcher) and Jason Varitek (Boston Red Sox catcher) are still active major leaguers. And the manager Dave Myers, who guided the team to a 70-72 record, later became the third base coach for the parent Seattle Mariners.
In 1996, 12 different players played in the big leagues, including future Mariners manager Don Wakamatsu, who was Varitek’s back up, and pitcher Ryan Franklin, who was released in 2011 by the St. Louis Cardinals. Raul Ibanez, the current Philadelphia Phillies left fielder, also played on the final Roosters team in 1996. He was a catcher at the time.
