The posted speed limit on Wrightsville Avenue in front of Cape Fear Hospital is 35 mph.

“There is a hospital warning sign with a 25 mph advisory speed for the hospital entrance,” said Tammy Stewart, N.C. Department of Transportation spokeswoman.
