Are taxis legally allowed to pick people up at bus stops?

David Morrison

Sure, it’s OK.

According to Matthew Kunic, director of planning and development for Wave Transit, “Our bus stops are placed in public locations. Therefore, it is out of our jurisdiction as to whether someone wants a taxi to pick them up at a Wave Transit bus stop.”

For more information regarding local bus stops you can contact Wave Transit at (910) 202-2036.
