How does K38 make its salsa?

Amy Hotz

Jason Hudson, manager of K38 Baja Grill at 5410 Oleander Drive, Wilmington [Map this], said he can’t give you the recipe.

“It’s one of the best kept secrets in Wilmington and we’d like to keep it that way,” he said.

But he did say their salsa has “the freshest ingredients in town” and that includes the basics – tomatoes, onions and cilantro.

If you want the rest, you’ll just have to hope the salsa maker is single. Even then, your relationship might have to get pretty serious.
