The New Hanover County Health Department does not check movie theaters in Wilmington, but managers at both Regal Mayfaire Stadium 16 theater and the Carmike 16 theater on Cinema Drive say they have exterminators that do overall bug checks on a regular basis. Corporate policy prevents Regal from disclosing the name of their exterminator. Carmike 12 recently switched to Economy Exterminators. Economy as of yet, has not done an official bed bug check.
