Over the past two fiscal years, there have been no annual pay raises for administrators, professors or any employees at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, according to college spokeswoman Dana Fischetti.
Fischetti said that due to state budget cuts, no annual pay increases were authorized by the N.C. General Assembly.
“There were, however, a small number of individuals who were promoted from one position to another or whose job responsibilities changed substantially during that period of time. In those cases, pay adjustments were made as warranted by the change in position and responsibilities,” Fischetti said.
“UNCW follows all personnel and pay policies as defined by state legislation,” Fischetti said.
