Eagle Island Seafood along 421 north has great seafood and fresh produce.
There’s no shortage of great seafood dealers in the area, but I do have a favorite. Just past the Ashley High/Veterans Park area keep your eyes open for a blue building on the southbound side. Here lies the Seaview Crab Company. Always a great selection, always fresh and the best part, they come to you! Well, not literally, but they do send out a weekly email with what’s in season, what they’re catching in abundance and extra details about special scores like a recent massive swordfish they cut into steaks or sushi quality mahi.
Visit their site to get on the list or swing by their facebook page for more info.

Henry & Son Seafood stand next to the Kangaroo in Castle Hayne. Blackburn Brothers is also a good choice!!
East Coast Seafood at 14th & Dawson Street.
Motts Seafood on the way to Wrightsville Beach is hands down the best place. They always have the best, freshest selection and the people that work there a always very nice, friendly and helpful.
I agree – you can’t beat Mott’s Channel on Wrightsville Beach. Good selection that’s always fresh, and the employees are helpful and friendly.
