What kind of vegetables can I grow around here?

Merton Vance

Spring and fall present opportunities for a wide variety of seasonal vegetables, said Ken Wells, consumer horticulture agent with the N.C. Cooperative Extension Service office in Wilmington.

“You can grow just about anything around here,” he said. “It’s a matter of picking the right time.”
