How can I find out how my congressman voted on a bill in Congress?

There are some searchable websites where you can look up votes on legislation and learn more about the procedures used to steer legislation through Congress.

Project Vote Smart is an independent group that compiles Congressional voting records. You can link to a page for individual members of Congress and also a list of rankings from various interest groups that rate a Representative’s record on  different issues.


THOMAS is a website for legislative information that is run by the Library of Congress
