When will the new Walmart in Wallace open?

Judy Royal
StarNews

Wallace in Duplin County is one of many towns across America that has  over the years abandoned old-style Walmart stores for Walmart Supercenter, that 24-hour, have-it-all-under-one-roof shopping mecca. The town has opened a new store at 5625 South N.C. Highway 41, Wallace, near N.C. Highway 11. It opened on Aug. 19 following a 7:30 a.m. ribbon cutting.
