Whatever happened to weatherman Craig Carnesi?

Ben Steelman

In January 2009, former WECT weeknight meteorologist Craig Carnesi joined the staff of TV station KSPR in Springfield, Mo. His bio at KSPR’s Web site proudly notes his work “forecasting along Hurricane Alley in Wilmington, NC.”

Before coming to WECT in 2006, Carnesi had been chief meteorologist for KRBC-TV in Abilene, Texas, where he met his wife, Sara.

Craig did such a fine professional job – always upbeat, keenly aware of his audience and related well to them–you are missed – he carried the banner in the weather department – good luck in all future endeavors.
