In Wilmington, the commercial theaters are the Carmike Cinemas at 111 Cinema Drive, Wilmington [Map this], between Market Street and South Kerr Avenue, and the Regal Mayfaire Stadium 16, 900 Town Center Drive, Wilmington [Map this], in the Mayfaire Town Center complex off Military Cutoff Road.

At Thalian Hall, 310 Chestnut St., Wilmington [Map this], the Cinematique series screens a schedule of independent and foreign films.

The Carmike Cinema 4 is located at 1018 Lake Park Blvd. N, Carolina Beach [Map this].

In Brunswick County, the Surf Cinemas are at 4836 Long Beach Road SE, Southport [Map this]. The Coastal 10 Cinemas are at 5200 Bridgers Road, Shallotte [Map this], just off U.S. 17.
